ICMLDE 2026 recognizes outstanding research contributions through its Best Paper Award and Best Student Paper Award. These awards celebrate papers that demonstrate exceptional originality, technical rigor, and impact within the fields of Machine Learning and Data Engineering, and are presented at the conference to the corresponding authors.
Following the format used in previous editions, ICMLDE 2026 will recognize outstanding papers across five categories:
For the top-scoring paper among international submissions.
For the top-scoring paper among regular (non-student) author submissions.
For the top-scoring paper where the primary author is a research scholar.
For the top-scoring paper where the primary author is a student.
For the top-scoring paper among submissions from industry professionals.
All accepted and presented papers are automatically eligible for consideration. Submissions are evaluated by the scientific committee and session judges on the following criteria:
The decision of the judges is final and not subject to discussion or appeal.
Award-winning papers are announced and felicitated during the closing session of the conference. In addition to a certificate of recognition, a selection of top-ranked, high-quality accepted papers — after extension — will be considered for publication in Web of Science- and Scopus-indexed journals, alongside standard publication in Procedia Computer Science (Elsevier).
