November 27–28, 2026 · India

Last updated: July 2026

Our Commitment

ICMLDE 2026 is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or nationality. This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees, speakers, authors, reviewers, organizers, volunteers, and sponsor representatives at all conference venues and conference-related social events, whether in person or online.

Expected & Unacceptable Behavior

✅ Expected Behavior

  • Treat all participants with respect and consideration
  • Communicate openly and thoughtfully; disagree constructively
  • Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants
  • Respect the rules and policies of the venue, hotel, or virtual platform
  • Alert conference staff if you notice a dangerous situation, someone in distress, or violations of this Code of Conduct

❌ Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form
  • Offensive comments related to protected characteristics; deliberate misgendering
  • Unwelcome sexual attention or advances
  • Sustained disruption of talks, sessions, or other events
  • Threatening or stalking any participant, in person or online
  • Plagiarism, data fabrication, or other research misconduct

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to conference venues, hotel spaces used for the event, official social functions, and all online spaces associated with the conference — including the submission and review system, virtual/hybrid sessions, and official conference communication channels. It applies to all interactions among participants for the duration of the event and in the period immediately surrounding it.

Reporting a Concern

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please report it as soon as possible so organizers can address it promptly:

Confidentiality

Reports will be handled with discretion, and the identity of the reporter will be kept confidential to the extent possible while investigating and resolving the concern.

Enforcement

Participants asked to stop any unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately. Organizers may take any action deemed appropriate, including a verbal warning, removal from the conference (in person or online) without refund, and/or reporting the conduct to the participant's home institution or relevant authorities, depending on the severity of the incident. The organizing committee's decision on enforcement action is final.
